# Beastmaster Karroch, known as the Beastmaster, is a primal warrior whose unique communion with animals makes him a formidable force on the battlefield. His tragic origins and supernatural bond with beasts define both his character and combat capabilities. Born into servitude, Karroch never knew freedom. His mother perished during his birth, while his father, a blacksmith employed by the Last King of Slom, was killed in a tragic accident when Karroch was merely five years old. The orphaned child was subsequently placed under the care of the royal menagerie, where he spent his formative years surrounded by an extraordinary collection of creatures—from majestic lions and powerful apes to rare fell-deer and more mysterious beasts that few believed existed. At age seven, Karroch's life changed forever when an expedition returned with an enigmatic creature never before encountered. Presented in chains before the King, the mysterious being communicated through silent telepathy, pleading for liberation. The King responded only with mockery and demanded the creature perform for entertainment. When it refused, the sovereign struck it with his cursed scepter and had it imprisoned in the stocks. For months, young Karroch secretly provided food and medicine to the dying creature, though his efforts could only postpone the inevitable. Through wordless communion, the beast gradually imparted upon the boy an extraordinary gift: the ability to comprehend and communicate with all animals. As the mysterious creature perished, grief and fury consumed Karroch. He orchestrated a mass animal uprising, releasing every beast from confinement to exact vengeance upon the tyrant who had caused such suffering. The Last King fell beneath the stampede. In the ensuing chaos, a majestic stag recognized its liberator, carrying Karroch beyond the palace walls to freedom. Now fully grown, Karroch retains his supernatural connection to the animal kingdom and channels nature's primal fury in combat.
Beastmaster Skills
- Wild Axes (Passive): Beastmaster sends his axes flying and calls them home again, slicing through enemy units and trees along their path. Each axe can hit an enemy once, and amplifies subsequent damage from Beastmaster and his units.
- Summon Razorback: Beastmaster calls forth a Boar to aid in the battlefield. The Boar has a passive poison attack that slows attack and movement speeds.
- Summon Raptors: Beastmaster summons %hawk_count% hawks that circle around Beastmaster and dive-bombs at enemies with a base attack rate of every %hawk_base_attack_interval%s, damaging and rooting them. Attack rate increases with the Hawk's attack speed. Prioritizes heroes.
- Inner Beast: Untaps the inner fury of Beastmaster and units he controls, passively increasing their attack speed.
- Drums of Slom: Attacks from Beastmaster or a nearby unit he controls will cause him bang his drum, dealing damage to nearby units and healing Beastmaster and units under his control for a portion of the damage dealt. Every attack decreases the interval between drum hits down to a minimum of %min_drum_hit_interval%s between hits after %max_stacks% attacks. If no attacks are made, the intervals gradually increase.<br><br>Using Primal Roar counts as %primal_roar_stacks% attacks.
- Primal Roar: Beastmaster lets loose a deafening roar that stuns, and shoves open a path to its target. All units in the path of the roar are damaged, while units shoved aside by the roar have their movement and attack speed slowed. Additionally, Beastmaster and his units gain %movement_speed%%% movement speed for %movement_speed_duration% seconds.
