# Spectre Mercurial, known as the Spectre, is a manifestation of volatile supernatural energy perpetually drawn to battlefields and zones of conflict. Operating primarily in her incorporeal form, she exists beyond the constraints of the material world; however, assuming a physical body causes her consciousness to fragment and scatter. Through the intensity of combat itself, her fractured identity gradually coalesces—a process in which she rediscovers her true nature as Mercurial while simultaneously recognizing that her auxiliary manifestations, the Haunts, are merely echoes of her singular essence. As the clash intensifies, mental clarity returns through the struggle for survival, allowing her core consciousness to resurface and take control. Upon the battle's conclusion—whether in triumph or defeat—she sheds her corporeal form and reverts to her spectral existence, becoming whole once more.
Spectre Skills
- Spectral Dagger (Passive): Spectre flings a dagger to draw a Shadow Path, dealing damage and slowing the movement speed of any enemies along the trail. Units hit by the dagger also trail a Shadow Path. While treading the path, Spectre moves faster and phases through otherwise impassable terrain.
- Shadow Step: Sends an uncontrollable illusion at a target that follows and attacks the target.<br><br>The Reality sub-ability may be used to teleport to the illusion, destroying it.
- Dispersion: Spectre disperses part of the damage dealt to her, reflecting it to all nearby enemies. The effect lessens with distance.
- Desolate: Spectre and her illusions deal bonus Pure damage if attacking an enemy that does not have any allied units within a %radius% radius around them.
- Haunt: Creates a spectral nemesis to haunt all enemy Heroes.<br><br>Haunt illusions are uncontrollable, take extra damage, and deal less damage than Spectre herself. They ignore terrain.<br><br>The Reality sub-ability may be used to teleport to the illusion, destroying it.
