# Underlord A fearsome tyrant of the abyss, Underlord serves as the brutal commander of the Abyssal Horde, ruling from the depths with an iron grip. ## Background In the cavernous depths far below the world's surface lies Aziyog, a sprawling obsidian metropolis carved from the very bedrock of an endless chasm. This architectural marvel, constructed through countless generations of slave labor, forms the stronghold of the Abyssal Horde under the iron-fisted rule of Vrogros, known throughout the underworld as the Underlord. Vrogros stands as a figure of absolute dominion, having been equipped with weaponry crafted by the masterwork forges of his kind. Through mastery of the Dark Rift—a twisted dimension between worlds—he wields devastating arcane power, summoning infernal flames and crippling dark energies against all who oppose him. His ambitions have long been constrained by the limited expansion opportunities within the subterranean realm, driving him to seek conquest in the lands above. What began as a calculated military expedition—initial waves of abyssal forces designed to probe the defenses of the surface world—has escalated into full-scale invasion preparations. With his vast armies mobilized and ready for sustained conquest, Vrogros himself has emerged from the darkness to claim dominion over the sunlit realm. Those who encounter the Underlord face an inexorable ultimatum: submit to his rule and offer tribute, or face obliteration beneath his overwhelming might.
